This stinging satire of Victorian social hypocrisy is a madcap farce about mistaken identities, secret engagements, and lovers’ entanglements that still delights audiences more than a century after its première performance.
This rehearsed and semi-staged reading will be presented in two halves on Friday 4 and Friday 11 August at 7.30pm in the Gate Theatre, 35 Watea Road, Torbay.
